How to set up a Premier League auction league
Start with a committed group of 6 to 20 managers. Create the league, agree an auction date and share the standard rules. Give each manager £100m. New leagues default to 14 players per squad; agree a supported size from 13 to 16 before season preparation. Run the auction in a room or on a call, then enter the final squads and prices in Auction League.
1. Recruit the whole group
Auction League is a private group game. Confirm that managers can attend auction night before you choose the date. A group that already talks about football has the strongest reason to stay active.
2. Create the league and share the rules
Use the Create league action to make an account and begin setup. Start with the default £100m and 14-player format. The organiser can choose 13 to 16 players per squad before season preparation; the size then locks for that season.
3. Run the auction and record every sale
Choose one clear record for the player, manager and winning price. Check each manager's remaining budget after every sale. After the final lot, the organiser enters the squads and prices into Auction League.
Common questions
How many managers can join?
Auction League supports 6 to 20 managers.
Can we run the auction by video call?
Yes. A room is best for the shared event, but a video call works too.
