Name a player. Anyone can bid. The highest bid wins, and the price comes out of that manager’s budget.

Fill your 13-player squad. Pick your XI, follow the points and make transfers as the season unfolds.

The planned organiser setup starts with Auction League’s standard scoring. Keep it, or adjust point values for your league. Custom scoring is optional, and new league registration is not open yet.
You host the auction in person or on a call. The organiser adds the squads. Auction League gives the season a home.

What does the organiser still do?
Set up the league, enter the final auction squads and prices, approve agreed manager swaps, and handle exceptions when needed. Managers pick their own teams and submit their own bids. We are building to reduce the organiser’s workload, not pretend it is already zero.

Built by the people in the room
We loved auction night.
The admin, less so.
For more than a decade, the Thame Lads League has met before the season to bid, disagree and watch careful plans fall apart. We built Auction League to give that tradition a better home.
It is in live testing with our founding league. We are taking the time to get it right before welcoming more groups.

What is auction fantasy football?
A season-long Premier League game for your own group. Everyone starts with the same imaginary budget and bids for players. Each player can belong to only one manager at a time. Real performances earn points under your league’s scoring rules.
Do we need to meet in person?
A room is great. A video call works too. You run the auction yourselves, then the organiser enters the final squads and prices into Auction League. The website demo is an example, not an online auction service.
How many people, and how much time?
We are aiming at groups of 8 to 16 for the planned launch. Our founding league has 19 managers. Allow an evening for the auction; the time depends on your group and how long everyone takes to stop talking.
Can I change my squad after the auction?
Yes. Bid privately for unowned players in sealed-bid rounds, or agree a swap with another manager for chairman approval. Squad rules and deadlines still apply. Every player has one owner at a time.
Is the £100m real money?
No. It is an imaginary team budget, not a stake or a prize pot. There are no betting mechanics. Pricing for future leagues is not yet confirmed; an interest email does not commit you to anything.
Can we join now?
We are building and testing Auction League with our founding league. New leagues are planned for 2027/28, subject to readiness. Email Adam to express interest. Public registration is not open yet.
Can we still play FPL?
Of course. Keep your FPL team. This gives your group a different competition, with unique squads and an auction night where everyone gets a chance to bid for every player.
