Auction Academy
What does an Auction League organiser do?
The organiser creates the league, invites managers, sets up auction night and enters the final squads and prices. During the season, the organiser approves agreed manager swaps and handles exceptions. Managers make their own team selections and sealed bids, while Auction League handles scoring, the table and scheduled bid rounds.
Before the season
Recruit the group, confirm the format and set a date. Give managers enough time to prepare. During auction night, keep one accurate record of every sale and each remaining budget.
After auction night
Enter the agreed squads and prices. Check the entries against the auction record before the season begins. Managers can then make their own selections and bids.
During the season
Approve agreed swaps and resolve the exceptions that need human judgement. Auction League handles the routine table, scoring, selection deadlines and scheduled sealed bids. The organiser remains responsible for the group's decisions and conduct.
